Postmates

From 2020-2025, I led the internal creative studio at Postmates from scrappy startup through its acquisition by Uber. I oversaw a team of art directors, designers, writers, content creators, and producers, and managed agency partners when needed.

We shot a burrito out of a T-shirt cannon at Jerry Rice. Published a Don’t Cookbook during the pandemic. Launched a roast chicken boat in Echo Park. Offered a Bottom-Friendly Menu for Pride. Hired Chrissy Teigen and Tyler the Creator as Postmates. Delivered Ted Lasso biscuits, Sopranos’ gabagool, and Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti.

We took the company — in a notoriously unprofitable category — into profitability. And sold a lot of fried chicken sandwiches along the way.
